Main tasks for the DevOps Back End Engineer will be:

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, operating and maintaining software solutions in a results oriented environment with a special dedication to Front End applications consumed from Mobile devices and Computers
• Participating in helping the team to deliver results while also helping in continuously improving the working mode
• As a DevOps team member participating in challenging, finding and deploying better tools and practices to increase the team efficiency
• Providing results which are business relevant while keeping the awareness of the current context and long term perspective
• Closely cooperating with the other DevOps team members, Business people, IT Architects, ML Data Scientists, Product owners and any other business colleagues to assure that solutions are constantly adapted to the larger context, evolving needs, constraints and lessons learned

The Candidate should have:

• Experience in:
  • Agile working mode as team member – at least 1 year
  • Working in a multicultural environment
• At least 4 years of experience in:
  • Python software development for business and infrastructure applications using Cloud API (Django framework knowledge is a plus but not mandatory)
  • Linux OS technologies and Bash scripting
• At least 1 year of experience in designing, developing, deploying, operating and supporting applications (end to end process)
• Familiarity with:
  • Data store technologies (such as object oriented, ACID/BASE, key-values), data modeling, SQL language and data serialization formats (JSON, YAML)
  • Microservices and n-tier applications in a self-hosted and cloud environment
  • Security practices (such as perimeter security, zero trust security) and technologies (such as PKI, Directory Services, SSL, JWT, MFA…) for distributed n-tier apps in a WAN and internet environment
  • Infrastructure as a code concepts and tools
  • Cloud technologies including using cloud services API based
  • CI-CD Pipeline automation concepts and tools
  • Application deployment and monitoring concepts in a automation oriented environment
• Experience in operating 24/7 backend applications in medium to large companies
• Self-driven, autonomous, results oriented personality
• Readiness to solve business and technical challenges
• Curiosity to explore and willingness to learn new things and to challenge existing understandings
• Ability to act pragmatic but considering the context and the future evolution
