Main tasks for the DevOps AWS will be:

• Participating in maintaining, monitoring, deploying, developing and transforming existing solutions
• Being a part of our “idea team” for all infrastructure improvements (example: implementation of Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible is in progress)
• Being responsible for all solutions related to AWS infrastructure – designing secure, containerization, provisioning, configuring and maintaining
• Participating in such processes as CI/CD, configuration management, processes’ automation, controlling and log management systems
• Using following technologies: Ansible, AWS, Bitbucket, Confluence, Docker, Elasticsearch, Groovy, Jenkins, Jira, Kubernetes, Linux, Packer, Prometheus, Sonar, Terraform etc.
• Complying engineering best practices (code review, refactoring, continuous integration, etc.)

The Candidate should have:

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as DevOps, including experience with Linux shell-scripting, Python programming
• Practical experience in and good knowledge of:
  • AWS infrastructure, including:
    • Familiarity with AWS cloud environments (VPC, EC2, IAM, RDS, SQS, S3, Route53)
    • Designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
    • Understanding of containerization rules and frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Provisioning, configuring and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure defined as a code (IaC)
    • Extensive knowledge and experience of Linux system admin
    • Experience with OpenVPN
    • Understanding of networking concepts and IP protocols
    • Knowledge of IT security best practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management
  • Bash and Python programming
  • Network load balancers – scalable networking technologies (HAProxy)
  • Automation, configuration administration and facilitating of the following tools: Terraform, Packer, Ansible
  • Controlling (example: Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) and log management systems (example: Elasticsearch, Logstash, etc.)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins), including principles and methodologies
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others
• Good understanding of the lifecycle of software-based services
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)
