The main tasks for the Data Engineer will be:

• Building robust data acquisition, transformation, and integration solutions that enable our customers to make effective decisions with ease
• Deploying efficient solutions on Cloud using a large amounts of data from various sources
• Upgrading skills in Azure Data Factory / Snowflake / Spark / Kafka

The Candidate should have:

• Minimum 3 years of working background in a similar role
• Knowledge of T-SQL or PL/SQL
• Experience in one of the following ETL tools: SSIS, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Oracle Data Integrator, Ab Initio, etc.
• Understanding of
  • Design techniques of relational databases
  • ETL
  • Data concepts such as Data Marts, Data Warehouses
• Experience with version control systems (GIT, Azure DevOps, SVN)
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Experience in
  • Using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • BI tools like SAP BO, Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI
  • Cloud Azure/AWS/GCP
• Understanding of data management concepts
• Familiarity with the importance of governance and security rules when handling data
