Seargin is looking for a Data Analytics Platform Developer

• Position: Data Analytics Platform Developer
• Technologies: Java, Security, OWASP
• Area: Project/ Maintenance
• Localization: Remotely now/in Katowice after pandemic
• Form of employment: Permanent contract
• Experience Level: Senior

Main tasks for the Data Analytics Platform Developer will be:

• Managing secure development, overlooking secure code (20%)
• Providing active security testing on DAP components (20%)
• Developing security associated components within DAP (60%)

The Candidate should have:

• Experience in working as security champion with following technologies:
  • Java
  • Scala
  • Go
• Acquaintance of:
  • Security Knowledge Framework
  • OWASP
• Expertise in issues related to security concepts and risks on all levels of application stack
• Practical experience in:
  • Building secure solutions – either from architect or engineering perspective
  • Using identity tokenization and underlying standards (SAML, oAuth, Kerberos)
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Educational background in Advanced Analytics, Data Science or Data Engineering
• Experience in:
  • Developing distributed systems
  • Security matters in data world
  • Certificates related to security issue
