Seargin is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst

The main tasks for the Cyber Security Analyst will be:

• Helping with Cyber client evaluations and supporting portfolio work using the company’s software tools including the end-to-end operation, analysis, and report generation
• Using proprietary software tools, generating cyber analysis
• Commenting on the results of the cyber analysis and presenting them in various ways and formats
• Preparing and validating manual technical analysis as input into the software tools
• Giving feedback on tools usage and improvements
• Developing new software enhancements and improvements to expand the company’s abilities to provide Cyber solutions to clients
• Collaborating with other company teams, stakeholders and clients to meet agreed on deadlines
• Owning project deliverables and supporting processes where needed
• Promoting wider Cyber Solution / M&A initiatives that will include project management components, with planning, reporting, and time management across multiple company EMEA resources to meet client timelines
• Actively taking part in the training of new joiners and other team members
• Being flexible in supporting other team members as the need arises (often on short notice, complex assignments)

The Candidate should have:

• Willingness to operate within the Cyber industry with good knowledge of the key risks and opportunities
• Ability to:
  • Adapt to different working hours; Cyber/M&A projects often involve tight timelines
  • Explain complex technical matters to less-technical stakeholders, use layman language
  • Assist in managing multiple projects and multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Present findings in a structured format required
• IT technical knowledge of operating a client-server-database system, including the capability to operate at command-line interfaces (CLI) level such as Windows or Linux OS
• Deep knowledge of MS Office Applications including at the macro-programming level
• University background or equivalent work experience
• Preferable general knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Preferable knowledge of cloud-hosted environments such as Amazon AWS
• Background in working in an office environment preferred
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken) level – C1

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Comprehensive knowledge and ability to operate and develop SQL queries
