Seargin is looking for a CA API Gateway System Engineer

The main tasks for the CA API Gateway System Engineer will be:

• Progressively develop subject matter expertise for CA API Gateway and other integration / EMS products and become a support team’s expert in that area
• Creation and development of CA API Gateway product (development, testing, and implementation of bug fixes, minor improvements, and new functionalities)
• Work with project teams to implement significant changes, upgrades, or new releases
• Preparing and maintaining the necessary operational documentation

The Candidate should have:

• A higher education qualification (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• Experience in any of the following technologies or disciplines (in order of most relevant):
• CA API Gateway
• TIBCO BusinessWorks, preferably 6. x
• TIBCO Enterprise Message Service
• Any other integration / EMS solutions
• Java and other relevant technologies: XML, XPath, HTTP, JMS, SOAP, JDBC, and Web Services
• Working experience in IT, ideally in technical support or development
• Good knowledge of the English language in written and spoken
• Rapid learning
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication abilities
• Readiness to work on shifts
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Knowledge of:
• Linux operating system
• Integration
• Testing
• Deployment tools – Jenkins, GIT
• ITIL process framework
• Familiarity with any other integration / EMS solutions
• Familiarity with RDBMS databases like SQL Server or Oracle
• Experience with TIBCO Spotfire
