The main tasks for the AWS Senior Developer will be:

• Closely collaborating with developers in his/her own agile DevOps team as well as sibling agile teams in an Agile Release Train to assure the ongoing
• Developing and operating APIs to support the Clinical Digitalisation
• Designing and developing solutions utilizing AWS services like S3, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.
• Documenting API design, Interface specifications, and implementing strategies
• Preparing Unit test cases for the API solutions’ CIICD pipelines
• Improving, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing applications in AWS
• Removing technical roadblocks for releases
• Continuous delivery of improvements that can make developers on the platform work even more efficiently
• Working on OW and maintaining AWS architectural runway and pipeline for several products
• Acting as a sparring partner on the use of AWS services for the organization
• Helping to develop colleagues in the use of A WS technologies

The Candidate should have:

• Educational background in IT and software development; and extensive experience within:
  • Python software development in the context of AWS Serverless infrastructure
  • API Design, Management, and Development
  • Automated unit testing and code quality inspection
  • Determining AWS design and development of best practices and testing guides etc.
• Openness to feedback to grow new soft skills
• A structured approach to organizing work in parallel running projects
• Experience as:
  • Python developer, with a focus on REST API design and implementation
  • Python developer, with a focus on data pipelines and serverless computing
• Team-oriented, detail- and deadline-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent multi-cultural communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Capability to collaborate in hybrid teams of all sizes
• Great English skills (written and spoken) and feeling comfortable with presenting topics to a larger audience

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Professional background in pharma domain or another regulated area
• Knowledge in the following areas:
  • Security
  • Logging
  • Auditing
  • Policy Management
• Experience with:
  • Performance monitoring and KPIs for end-to-end process
  • Large scale, agile projects in the SAFe framework
  • Cl/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps (or similar)
• AWS API Gateway/FastAPI experience or AWS LambdalGluelApache Spark experience
