Seargin is looking for an ALM Test Engineer

• Position: ALM Test Engineer
• Location: Katowice (due to pandemia, currently work can be performed remotely)
• Form of employment: Permanent employment
• Skills: test automation, development of test architecture, backend scripting languages (Python and Java), frontend scripting language as nice to have (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Seniority: Professional

Main tasks for the ALM Test Engineer will be:

• Be a source of knowledge in the department’s processes and rules
• Provide design support, and applying test infrastructure to assist with reliable test ecosystem.
• Design and apply test organization and reporting technologies.
• Take part in team planning and status activities to guarantee everything is clearly understood and prioritized, and the desired output is settled.

The Candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science emphasis.
• Minimum 2 years of software test or development, co-op/internship experience
• Experience using different coding methods and programming languages, such as Python, Java and/or TypeScript.
• Expertise with software process improvement.
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if the Candidate had: 

• Practical experience with ALM tools
• General knowledge of industrial control systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of code versioning technologies, such as Git.
• Experience in automated test frameworks and technologies, like Selenium, Coded UI etc.
• Experience with unit test frameworks such as TestNG, Jasmine etc.
